Welcome to Teglan Fisheries, a family run fishery with something to offer everyone.

Background / History

Following a serious road traffic accident, over ten years ago, Mark Owen was left paralysed from the mid-chest down (T6-T7). Due to a brachial plexus injury, rendering his left arm paralysed, Mark is now tri-plegic.

Not one to let this set-back dictate the path of his life, Mark (who had always been a keen fisherman) decided to open a fishery with his father, David.

In 1999, Mark bought (Ysbryd-Y-Llyn) Teglan, which was then nothing but a field with a lake in it.

By 2000, he and his father had created the second lake and stocked them both. Within a few years, Teglan was a successful business, drawing fishermen from all over the country.

The father and son team provide a friendly, professional service. Both highly experienced anglers, and both British Disabled Anglers Association Assessors and Area Managers, they will make sure you have the best fishing experience possible – whether it’s help with equipment or bait, or just a bit of advice, don’t be afraid to ask.
